What’s new in the BIG K!
Dear Parents,

Thank you for all of your patience and flexibility with changes in our scheduled events. Please make sure you read through Dr. Peter’s letter regarding Corona virus. Stay close to email and text blasts for the latest information in school happenings.

While we didn’t get our new living / nonliving unit started we did have fun with shaving cream! We made rainbow rain with colored water, eye droppers and shaving cream clouds! We were amazed at watching the colored rain fall down from the clouds. We also cleaned off tables with shaving cream so that we could practice writing math facts, words, and shapes in shaving cream. We also had fun taking turns and teaching our friends about odd and even numbers as we rolled dice on our Promethean board.

This coming week we will start our unit on living / nonliving. We will also celebrate St. Patrick’s day on Tuesday. We are expecting a visit from Dr. Veirthaler about dental health and might attend the 8th grade play Thursday and Friday morning. If you have not done so please get signed up for parent teacher conferences. We have lots to discuss regarding end of the year events.
