First Grade Flash March 5, 2020

Categories: First Grade

Dear Parents,

Wow!  Each day the first graders are growing spiritually, academically and socially in the classroom.

They have enjoyed the beautiful weather at recess.

The skills that were reviewed in Reading class were or, oar, ore, compare/contrast, short ea, synonyms, high-frequency words and comprehension question.

First Grade Day is Tuesday, April 7th.  We will be eating lunch at 12:00.

Please continue to have your children bring 8 or 10 books each week.

I would like for the students to bring their favorite Dr. Seuss book for “Share and Tell” tomorrow.  They will be writing about their books.

We will not have school on Thursday, March 12th and Friday, March 13th.  The teachers will have professional development training.

I would like for the students “A Fun Season”, “Happy Fall!” and “Seasons” this weekend.  Please have your children practice counting with dimes, nickels and pennies.

Have a good weekend.

Go Bearcats and Spoofhounds!

Thank you!
