Start to the 4th Grade Year

Categories: General News

4th grade is off to a tremendous start this school year. We have kicked the year off with lots of exciting class activities. We have began learning about and reading scripture while relating it to our own lives, along with learning about original sin. All students have been doing a fantastic job with their mass roles each week and have been a great example for our younger students. We are in the midst of learning about the various simple machines during science as we prepare to apply all of them to a building project. Social studies has been focused on learning about maps and features of our earth. Mrs. Reed joined our class this week and served as the head architect while the kids presented her their classroom map which included all of the map components we have been studying. As a first year teacher, I am enjoying my time at St. Gregory and look forward to an exciting school year.
