What’s new in the BIG K!

Categories: Kindergarten

Dear Parents,

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING!!! It was such a memorable day and I hope you enjoyed all of your children’s hard work on their plays.

Below is a link for our Easter service project. The school is teaming up with the Rotary for Shoes for Orphan Souls. If you would like to participate please send a new pair of shoes to school and we will get them in the donation container.

Please make sure you are returning library books we are missing quite a few and we only have a few times left for library.

Thank you so much to Christy Tapps, Colby Weichinger, Malinda Tobin, Ashlie Powell, and Chad Bostwick for volunteering to drive on our field trip.  We should have plenty of help but if you would like to go please let me know.

Be sure to read Mrs. Steins reminders each week it will just get busier and busier as our weeks get fewer and fewer. Please read all the dates and details about the last day of school and other school wide events.

Next week for show and tell please have your child bring in either a picture, real or fake plant. We planted some seeds to go along with our study of The Little Red Hen but will continue to build on this during our Science unit on Living and Non-living things.

I hope you enjoyed all of our hard work from the plays.  We spent some extra time with table decorations and added performances for preschool, second and fourth grades so we are going to keep the same sight words and word family for this upcoming week.

Next week we will study our new sight words; did, from. Our new word family will be the -ot family (dot, cot, hot, lot, not)
