Second Grade Update – April 4, 2019

Categories: General News

It’s getting to that busy time of the year. We have so many things going on at school right now that it seems hard to keep up with what’s happening. Please make sure you are double checking emails from the school office, teachers, the school website, etc. so you are up to date as to what’s happening at school.

The students have been working hard on reviewing inferences, contractions, and more. They have also worked on regrouping with double digit addition and practiced how to edit writing. They have done a great job with the skills this week.

Please continue to encourage your child to read, double check their work, and stay focused during the remainder of the school year. We have a little bit of “springitus” setting in. We talked about how it can be harder to focus at this time of the year but I know they can do it!

Thanks again for your support and have a great night!

Mrs. Casteel

FFF Mass tomorrow, Friday, April 5th
