The first graders are looking so forward to Grandparents and Special Friend’s Day tomorrow!
The students and I cannot believe it will be fourth quarter on Monday. The first graders will have 12 spelling words and they need to write 4 sentences.
The skills that were reviewed in Reading class were vowel diphthongs ou/ow, sequence chart, silent e, ed/ing, biographies, high-frequency words and comprehension questions.
Please continue to have your children read each night, review math facts, time by the hour/half hour and counting dimes, nickels and pennies.
Please have your children read “A Cub Grows Up”, “A Tiger Cub Grows Up” and “Gray Goose” this weekend.
The students need to wear their Falcon Family shirts tomorrow.
I would like to thank Miraya Burnsides and Sylvia Cloupek for planning the Grandma Baby Shower and my birthday celebration. Also, I really appreciated Jill, Kamryn, Jaxson and Nathan Gockel, Susan Barlow, Becky Jaster, Jamie Casteel, Shelly Stiens and Kaila Braymen and Tom Seipel for attending the celebrations.
Have an awesome weekend.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
