We have had a great transition back to school. The students have been working really hard and we have also had a lot of fun. The students got a chance to share with their friends what they did over break as well as make goals for this upcoming year.
In reading the students learned about drawing conclusions. For their spelling the students work on r controlled words specifically spelled with ear, ere, air, and are. In grammar the students learned how to combine sentences using the word and. Today the students reviewed all of these skills by playing games before taking their tests!
In math the students worked on new skills. The students collected data on their friends favorites. They then put this data into a pictograph and analyzed it. These pictographs will be up in the hallway on our bulletin board. If you get a chance please feel free to check them out!
