Merry Christmas and many blessings. As our first semester comes to an end, the students continue to strive for academic excellence. Most recently, they completed an essay on Jim Crow laws. In doing so, the students learned how to format a thesis paper in Turabian. This is a style they will need to know in High School. Also, they have written a prayer, a paper on why they are proud of America, and began a study on the Industrial Revolution. Outside of academics, I truly enjoy watching the kids ring bells at Walmart; they had fun, sang songs, and visited with folks. The kids represented St. Gregory’s well! As we look forward to next semester, we will begin play practice upon returning from Christmas break. We will continue our studies in American History and we will start a Bible Study (for those interested) on Mondays during Falcon 30. The year is going fast, enjoy the time.
