Welcome to 7th grade!

The 7th grade class focuses on building our vocabulary and also enhancing our writing skills by writing personal narratives, argumentative essays, informative essays, research papers, and persuasive essays. God is the main focus in our classroom and we enjoy participating in service projects and learning how God plays the most important role in our lives.

We do many exciting things in 7th grade, but a few of our favorites include:

  • Creating Apple Dolls
  • Kahoot
  • The many novels we read including: The Witch of Blackbird Pond, The Giver, The Westing Game, The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, and My Brother Sam is Dead
  • Participating in essay contests
  • Creating board games to learn vocabulary
  • Theology of the Body

Seventh Grade Final Notes for 2013-2014

I really enjoyed my class this year.  We made  a lot of memories and had a lot of fun.  I wish you all a relaxing and enjoyable summer. I look forward to seeing you as eighth graders next year! Mrs. Gastler

     We are off and running in 7th grade.  The class is really enjoying the book The Island of the Blue Dolphins.  We look forward to completing some fun activities to go along with this book.  We are coming to a close on our study of Subjects and Predicates in Language Arts.  We will soon…
