Welcome to 8th grade!
If you stop in my classroom, you are welcome to pull up a barstool, sit down on the rug or stand at my counter, which is part of my newly implemented flexible seating arrangement. You might see 5th or 6th grade math students studying factors or how to find area, or any number of math topics. Math students also practice facts and study on Khan Academy while using their Chromebooks. 7th and 8th grade social studies students can be found researching various history topics and learning about American History from the 1400’s through present day, or might be practicing geography skills on their Chromebooks.

The spring…
The 8th grade play will be performed on Thursday, April 28th at 9am and 7pm as well as Friday, April 29th at 9am. All performances will be in the school gym. There is no charge for admission, and everyone is invited.
We had a great afternoon volunteering for the food pantry. Here are a few snapshots of some of the 7th and 8th graders. And yes, Kenzie, Laney and Jordan all had on matching skirts to dress up for their volleyball game tonight! You girls must have similar tastes in fashion!
