6th Grade Happenings–03/11/2018

Categories: Classroom News,Sixth Grade

Happy Sunday!  I hope everyone has had some time to relax and enjoy the weekend.

4th Quarter begins tomorrow!  Wow–where did the time go!?!  I just wanted to send a few reminders out as we go into the new week and the new quarter.
Monday (03/12), we will have XSTREAM from 3 – 4:15.  Students can be picked up from the doors near the gym right at 4:15.  We will be creating a fun project with circuits.
Our class will be doing Thursday’s Mass roles.  Keagan will be the reader, Kayla will say the response, Don, Bea, Trevan, and Cooper will say the petitions, Wesley and Brinley will be bringing up the gifts, Derek and Lauren will song lead, and Wyatt, Thomas, and Quenton will serve.  Mass starts at 8am–all are welcome to join us!
Friday (03/16) between 8 – 9:30, students will have interviews for their School of Economics positions.  Interviews were offered to those who indicated they wanted a “higher-paying job’ and whose application was completed at a high-quality.  The students who have interviews were given their time slot and what they need to be prepared for last Thursday afternoon.  All students will know their job and what country they’ll work for next Monday, the 19th.
Please mark your calendars for the Spring PTO Meeting next Thursday at 6pm, followed by the 8th Grade Play: Million Dollar Meatballs.  The play will begin at 7pm in the gym.
Also–please mark your calendar for the 6th grade presentation of the Stations of the Cross, which will be Wednesday, March 28, at 8:45am.  We will start reflection more on the stations, and figure out our roles for this reenactment tomorrow.
Have a great week–it looks like there is warmer weather on the way!!
