Happy Fat Tuesday! I hope you all are having a great day. If you need some treats to get through the day, I am guessing your child came home with a few 🙂 They had a blast at their Valentine’s Party this afternoon—they played some great games, ate some great food, and just enjoyed some time away from class work. Thanks to Kelly Quinlin and Stacy Liebhart for providing the fun.
We will be going to Mass tomorrow for Ash Wednesday. It is an all school Mass with our Faith Families, so please have your child wear their PTO shirts. Trevan will be serving, Wesley will be saying a Petition, and then Bea and Kayla will help bring up the gifts.
We will also be going to Mass on Thursday.
On Thursday, there will be a vocab quiz from our first set of vocab words from Watsons Go to Birmingham-1963. The students will also have a spelling test on Thursday. Mrs. Hall also mentioned to me that the students will have their next Science test next Wednesday. These are just a few things to keep in mind as we come near completing another week with no school on Friday nor next Monday.
It is great to be back at school–while it was hard to leave Isaiah at daycare, he has his brother and sister there to help out. I am incredibly thankful for all the love and support we had from all during this special time with Isaiah. I am especially grateful for Ms. Jordan and the phenomenal job that she did. Stepping right back into the classroom was a breeze…..both she and the students made the transition go smoothly. We are lucky we get to have Ms. Jordan around for a couple more months.
Have a great week!
