We had a phenomenal week! Between the music program, nursing home caroling, Falcon Faith Family Mass, Dance, and movie the kids had a great time! They also finished their Christmas gifts for you, decorated their gift bag, made a card, and made giant 3D snowflakes!
A lot of the kids have asked for instructions on how to make the snowflakes at home. I found a YouTube video that explains how to make the 3D snowflakes step by step. These snowflakes are a great way to make your home festive and gives the kids something fun to do over break.
I also gave the students their Winter Reading Challenge papers this week. There are multiple activities that the students can choose from to do that have to do with reading (read on an airplane, read under the Christmas tree, read with an aunt or uncle, etc.). There is even a place where the students can make up their own options. They need to read for at least 10 minutes for each of these activities. If they do this and turn it in by January 5th they will earn a surprise! I also told the students if they took pictures of themselves doing these activities and sent them to me through ClassDojo I’ll give them a point!
I hope you all have a great Christmas break,
