Hello,

We have had a busy last few weeks of the midterm.  The students completed their apple dolls and those will be coming home tomorrow.  The sculpt a character book reports also turned out wonderful!
This is a very short week, but I wanted to pass along some information and upcoming dates to you!
Holiday Fun Fest is Sunday, December 3.  The committee has asked for each family to bring in 2 baked goods and 2 2-liters of pop.  These can be brought in the end of next week.
Redwheel order forms are due Tuesday, November 28. I hope they are having good luck selling! Remember to take them with you to your Thanksgiving dinners! 旅
We do have a Falcon Faith Family mass tomorrow at 8:00. In the past we have brought in canned goods to donate to the food pantry, however this year we are doing something different. If you wish, please send in a gift card for the Blackford family with a note of encouragement. Their daughter Ava has been battling cancer, and they make many trips to St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis. Ava’s brother Braxton is in Kindergarten here at St. Gregorys.  Students will put their gift cards and/or notes at the altar before mass. Gas gift cards are especially helpful to the family. If you are unable to donate a gift card, a simple note of encouragement is much appreciated.
At 10:15 tomorrow, students will begin some Thanksgiving activities with their faith families. There are a lot of fun things planned and they will even get to enjoy lunch together!
We will conclude our day at 2:00 with a students vs. teachers dodge ball game.  Those students who raised a certain amount for Dodge ball for Heart will be participating!  Feel free to come watch (hopefully the teachers will dominate).
I wish you all a blessed Thanksgiving.  I am beyond blessed to teach your children each day and am grateful that you have chosen to send your children to St. Gregorys.
God Bless,
Mrs. Gastler
